Police seize motorbikes after ASB menace - and issue warning to residents

Police have issued a warning to Sheffield residents after seizing half a dozen off-road motorbikes which were being used to cause antisocial behaviour.

Sheffield East Local Policing Team conducted an operation in the Wybourn area on Wednesday, targeting antisocial bikes.

Police seized six vehicles and officers are still investigating ‘a range of offences’ including theft, no insurance and driving offences.

A spokesman said: “We appreciate it can be frustrating when you see these bikes being ridden in a dangerous or anti-social manner in your local area. Please continue to report these mater on 101 we will remove these bikes from the streets where we can.”
