Police officers want to trace the owner of  tools believed to have been stolen in South Yorkshire.

They hope the owner of the items will come forward to claim them and help officers who have arrested a man on suspicion of theft.

It is believed that the tools were stolen in the Grimethorpe area of Barnsley on Monday, August 8.

The tools include a fuel pump and a plastering whisk.

A 39-year-old man arrested on suspicion of theft has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
