Police seek man over theft of purse from Barnsley pensioner

A woman in her 70s had been shopping in Morrisons in the town centre when it is believed her purse was stolen.

She discovered it was missing when she got to the checkout and found that her bag was unzipped.

The OAP called her bank and was told that one of her cards had been used to buy a number of high value items including a laptop and some computer software.

Police officers believed the man in the CCTV could hold vital information.
