Police seek man over series of attacks in Sheffield

A man wanted over a series of assaults in Sheffield is still missing despite a police appeal for help in tracing him earlier this year.

Jonathan Dodson, aged 37, is wanted over a number of assaults alleged to have been committed between May and November last year.

South Yorkshire Police circulated Dodson’s photograph in January but he has not yet been traced.

Now they have produced a ‘wanted’ poster in a bid to locate him.

The force believes Dodson knows he is wanted for questioning.

Detective Sergeant Suzanne Bluck said: “Despite a public appeal for information to locate this man, Dodson remains at liberty and we need your help to find him.

“He knows he is wanted and appears to be actively evading police, which is simply unacceptable.

“We can handle information in confidence if you do not want to provide your details and you can always ring Crimestoppers anonymously as well.”

Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
