Police renew appeal to find two inmates serving indefinite life sentences who fled Doncaster jail

South Yorkshire Police have renewed an appeal to find two men serving indefinite life sentences, who are still on the loose after fleeing from a Doncaster prison on Monday.

The two men, Jeremiah St.Phorose, 27, and Darrel Bryce, 31, are believed to have left together after they were reported as missing from the open prison on Thorne Road in Hatfield on Monday.

Both men were serving indefinite life sentences for separate offences including burglary and wounding for St Phorose, and robbery and possession of a firearm for Bryce.

St.Phorose, originally from Hull, has connections in Selby in North Yorkshire and in Humberside.

Bryce is originally from Nottinghamshire and has connections in the Nottingham and Worksop areas.

A number of enquiries have already been conducted to locate the men, and officers would advise members of the public not to approach either man if seen, but to contact police immediately to enable their swift arrest and return to prison.
