Police probe over Chesterfield daylight sex snap

Police say they are 'aware' of a picture of a couple apparently having sex in Chesterfield town centre in broad daylight.

As reported last week, a shocked member of the public sent the Derbyshire Times the photo, which was captured at the back of Chesterfield Library on Falcon’s Yard.

A Derbyshire police spokesman said today: "We are aware of the alleged incident and we have the details of the people who recorded the footage. We are waiting until they are available to speak to officers.

"There is no investigation at this stage."

It follows on from a story we ran in September when a couple were pictured engaged in a sex act on New Beetwell Street.
