The 61-year-old man who died after being attacked in a robbery at his Sheffield home on Christmas Day has been named as Stephen Paul Starkey.
Mr Starkey was at his home in Reney Crescent, Greenhill, on December 25 when at around 10.30am a man entered his property, assaulted him and stole items.
Mr Starkey was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries where he later died.
A forensic post mortem examination is yet to be carried out.
A 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.
