Police in Sheffield have launched a hunt for a missing Sheffield woman, amid growing concerns for her safety.

Nicole Biney has not been seen since Wednesday lunchtime – and officers have now launched a plea for her whereabouts, issuing an appeal via social media in a bid to track her down.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “We urgently need your help to find missing 46-year-old Nicole Biney, as concerns grow for her welfare.

“Nicole was last seen at midday on Wednesday 25 November in the Braemore Road area of Wadsley in Sheffield.

“She is likely to be wearing sportswear type clothing.

“Nicole is described as being 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build, with long dark hair.

“Have you seen Nicole? Do you know where she might be?”
