Police keep in close touch

South Yorkshire Police information boards will be placed in prominent positions around the town in the near future.

The boards will contain information and contacts for the town’s policing team and a description of the main issues they will be tackling.

Police Community Support Officer Toni Bratby said: “It’s important that the community know who we are and what we aim to do in the area.

“The boards will go up at places such as the Co-op and the library.

“If anyone has any concerns that are not emergencies, we would like to hear from them.”
