Owners of Ford Transit vans in Rotherham are being warned that thieves are targeting the vehicles.

South Yorkshire Police said a number of vans were stolen from north Rotherham over the weekend before being stripped for parts.

Police chiefs are urging owners and drivers to ensure their vehicles are locked and immobilised when not in use.
