Police issue warning to Sheffield motorists
Motorists are being warned against parking on side streets around the Sheffield Arena following a number of break-ins over recent weeks.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Please take care where you leave your car. There have been recent thefts from vehicles that have been parked on roads and industrial estates close the Sheffield Arena. Park in an appropriate place and never leave valuables in your car.”
Thefts have also been reported from vehicles parked in Lound Road, Handsworth; Stovin Drive, Darnall; Alyward Road, Arbourthorne; Granville Road, Norfolk Park; Hallyburton Close, Arbourthorne; Wulfric Road Manor; Baker Street, Attercliffe and Halsall Avenue, Darnall.
