Police issue warning after thieves break into homes on this Sheffield street

Police have warned residents to keep their homes secured after two homes were burgled on a Sheffield estate yesterday.

Thieves broke into two homes on Samuel Road, Norfolk Park, between 5pm and midnight through the back doors of the properties.

Police said that various items were taken during the burglaries, while a building site on Fretson Road, Manor, was also broken into on the same night.

A number of metal items were stolen while nearby on Princess Court, a shed was broken into.

Police warned that thieves had also targeted a number of cars in the area with various items stolen.

Cars on Arbourthorne Road, Berners Road, Seagrave Road, Paddock Crescent, East Bank Road, Dene Place, Wickfield Road and Doveholes Drive were targeted.
