Police issue warning after series of crashes on South Yorkshire motorways
South Yorkshire Police has issued a safety warning today after a series of crashes on the county’s motorways.

The force’s traffic officers have urged motorists ‘slow down and drive to the conditions’ after responding to smashes on the M180, M18 and M1.
South Yorkshire Police said: “It has been raining heavily all night and all morning and the roads are very wet. Please slow down and drive to the conditions.”
One car was abandoned after a crash and when officers arrived drugs were found inside.
