An E-fit has been released of a man wanted over an armed robbery in Sheffield.

A man with a knife threatened staff at a supermarket in High Green at around 10.45pm on Tuesday, November 1.

He escaped from Sainsbury's with a quantity of cash and fled towards Pack Horse Lane.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "A man entered a supermarket in the High Green area of Sheffield and threatened workers with what is believed to be a knife.

The man left the supermarket towards the direction of Pack Horse Lane after taking a quantity of money.

"Following initial inquiries, police are now appealing for members of the public who may be able to identify the man in the E-fit."
