Police identify man found dead in Sheffield park

Richard Beeton, aged 72, was found dead in the pond in Bingham Park, Nether Green, last Friday.

He had been reported missing from his home in the High Storrs area the day before.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "The death is not being treated as suspicious and specialist support is being provided to the family at this difficult time."
