A DISTINCTIVE bracelet was stolen from a home in Rotherham during a raid.

The jewellery was taken on Saturday, June 2, when burglars broke into a property in Brinsworth and stole various items.

They included a bracelet with charms and metal crests on it from different countries visited by the victim.

There are over 60 crests, on the bracelet including an oval charm of the Vatican.

Police said on one side of the oval was a picture of the Vatican and on the other a picture of Pope John Paul II from 1967.

A force spokesman said: “This bracelet is of great sentimental value to its owner and we urge anyone who has either seen it or knows of its whereabouts to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 780 of June 3.”
