A major Sheffield road has been partly cordoned by police this afternoon after an 18-year-old man was stabbed.
A police cordon was in place between on Halifax Road, with police at the scene between Kilner Way Retail Park and Southey Green Road.
A stabbing was the cause of the cordon - which has now been lifted, as of 5.30pm.
There are eight police officers on the scene, after they were called out at 2.45pm.
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called to Halifax Road in Sheffield at about 2.45pm today (Thursday 29 October) to reports of a robbery.
“An 18-year-old man had his scooter taken during the incident and received a single stab wound to the leg. His injuries are not life threatening.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch quoting incident number 619 of Thursday 29 October.
