A Doncaster man who was wanted in connection with an assault earlier this year has been caught by police. 

Felix Gonzales, aged 37, has been at large since May, following an assault in Hexthorpe in which a 34-year-old woman was injured.

Following the attack detectives launched an appeal asking the public for help in finding Gonzales.

Today, South Yorkshire police confirmed he is now in custody.
