Police carry out vehicle checks in Sheffield city centre as part of specialist operation
A number of drivers were dealt with as part of an operation police carried out in Sheffield city centre last night.
Officers from the Sheffield city centre neighbourhood team carried out vehicle stops and checks as part of Operation Street Safe, which covers the city's nightlife.
A spokesman said offences included driving with no insurance, driving while using a mobile phone and class B drugs.
