Police called to emergency incident in Rotherham

Emergency services were called to the A618 Pleasley Road, in Whiston, at around 6pm on Sunday, October 25.

Witnesses reported seeing an air ambulance land in a field nearby around that time in the evening.

But, a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said a call for an air ambulance had not been logged on the system for the incident in question.

Police and paramedics did, however, attend the scene.
