Police appeal for witnesses after two men seriously injured in Doncaster road smash

Police in Doncaster have issued an appeal for witnesses after two men suffered serious injuries in a road smash.

At around 4pm on June 28, it is reported that two vehicles, a silver Transit minibus and a metallic light brown Volkswagen Passat, were in collision on the B1220 Askern Road near to the junction with Owston Lane, Carcroft.

A 56 year old man, who was passenger in the Passat, suffered multiple injuries including a broken neck in the collision.

A 23 year old man, who was driving in the Passat, suffered hand injuries.

Both men are now recovering at home.

Officers are urging anyone with information about the collision to contact them.

They are also interested in hearing from anyone who has dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident.
