Police alerted to 200 incidents during last night's England and Wales Euro games

South Yorkshire Police received 200 calls to incidents during the England and Wales Euro 2016 games last night.

South Yorkshire Police used Twitter to demonstrate how busy the force can get and revealed that while England and Wales played their final group games 200 calls were received.

In Tweets the force said officers were called to 'fighting' in Doncaster, criminal damage in Rotherham, 'a number of reports of fighting across Sheffield' and 'domestic incidents coming in from across all four areas of the county'.

The force recorded 1,352 incidents over 24 hours.
