Plea to tackle brook pollution

Have your say

ENVIRONMENTAL Health chiefs in North East Derbyshire have been urged to treat as top priority the continuing pollution of a brook through Dronfield.

Members of the Lea Brook Valley Project, which has been improving the valley backed by Dronfield Town Council, have asked North East Derbyshire Council to investigate.

Norman Crowson, project co-chairman, said a “grey smelly” liquid was coming from a drainage pipe running into the brook near Gosforth Lane.
