Plea to clear out cupboards for sick pets

Have your say

ANIMAL lovers are urged to clear out their cupboards and donate unwanted items to a veterinary charity’s shop.

Staff and volunteers at PDSA, which cares for the pets of people in need throughout Sheffield, has made the plea for its store in Broomhill.

Gemma Ravenhall, PDSA store manager, said: “If your cupboards are cramped or your bookcase is buckling, why not have a sort-out and donate any unwanted items to Broomhill PDSA store?

“All funds raised help us to care for sick and injured pets.

“Right now, we’re especially keen to receive home entertainment such as DVD, CDs, records and books.

“So please think of PDSA if you are having a clear-out.”

Donations can be taken to the store, located at 218 Fulwood Road, from Monday to Saturday between 9am and 5pm.

The Broomhill store raises funds to provide free veterinary treatment to the sick and injured pets of people in need at Sheffield PDSA PetAid hospital.
