Plan to convert Sheffield student flats to private housing
Students flats on the edge of Norfolk Heritage Park could be turned into private housing.
Campbell Property UK has applied to change the use of 29 of the 117 properties at Norfolk Park Student Village.
The firm says more students are living in purpose-built city centre accommodation, and demand in more outlying areas has gone down.
The planning application says: “While still in an attractive location and setting and a sustainable location, Norfolk Park has struggled to maintain a viable rate of occupancy.”
