While there may only be a handful of railway stations in and around Sheffield these days, in the past there were many, many more.
However, over the passage of time, stations from Brightside to Beighton and Chapeltown to Catcliffe have bitten the dust.
The remains of some live on, while some have disappeared totally, giving no hint they ever existed.
