PICTURES: Meadowhall EMPTY as Black Friday begins
Sheffield's biggest shopping centre, Meadowhall, had an empty car park as shops opened for Black Friday this morning.
Photos sent into the Star show parking spaces without any cars or people to be seen, as well as empty walkways inside the shopping complex.
Meadowhall opened at 8am today and will not finish Black Friday sales until 10pm.
Shoppers from across the country have been posting photos on social media of empty shopping centres.
