PICTURES: Fire service releases dramatic photographs of Tata Steel blaze
Firefighters have released dramatic images showing the inferno they were faced with at a Rotherham steel plant this morning.
Crews were called to Tata Steel in Aldwarke Lane, Aldwarke, at 1am and discovered that thousands of litres of oil had gone up in flames.
At the height of the blaze there were 10 fire engines and more than 50 firefighters at the scene.
The fire is now out.
Firefighters left the scene at 7am.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze is to be launched.
