Numerous police vehicles have flooded a Sheffield suburb this evening.Â

A passer by took several pictures showing at least three police cars at Darnall Road, close to the junction with Price of Wales Road, in Darnall at about 4.20pm.

They added that there was 'heavy traffic' and they were 'not sure what is going off.'

First South Yorkshire tweeted that buses are experiencing delays of about 25 minutes due to heavy traffic.  

South Yorkshire Police has not yet released any details about the incident.
