Dozens of naked runners will head to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park tonight for the Bare All For Polar Bears race - with men and women getting down to the buff for the half-mile dash around the popular visitor attraction.

Over the years, scores of local sporting events have been the target of nude fun and games by high spirited fans - with football and cricket matches and even the World Snooker Championship Final at Sheffield's Crucible interrupted by streakers.

From Doncaster Rovers to Barnsley, Rotherham United to Sheffield Wednesday, most of our region's clubs have had a naked invader scampering around the pitch, with stewards in hot pursuit at some time or another.
