PHOTOS: Driver arrested after early morning Sheffield Parkway crash

A driver was arrested and another is on the run after a serious early morning crash on the Sheffield Parkway.

The two-car collision took place on the stretch of the road near Catcliffe at 5am this morning (Sunday, May 6).

Both drivers had left the scene by the time officers arrived.

Officers said one was found hiding in some nearby bushes but the other managed to get away.

The driver remains in custody while enquiries continue, they added.
