DOG owners are being invited to bring their pets for a free health check-up in Doncaster later this month.

The vets for pets charity PDSA is bringing its PetCheck vehicle to the borough on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22, as part of its UK-wide PetCheck tour.

It will stop outside the at Jollyes Pet Superstore, on Wheatley Retail Park, Wheatley Hall Road from 10am to 5pm on the Saturday, and 10am until 4pm on the Sunday.

A PDSA Veterinary Nurse will examine the weight, body-shape, teeth, eyes, coat and general fitness of dogs.

Microchipping for dogs will also be available at the event for a fee.
