X-rated anti-Boris Johnson song in running to be UK's Christmas number one

Boris Johnson Is A F****** C*** by The K**** has surged into the top 20 on the midweek charts – and could top the charts when the festive number one is revealed.

Released earlier this year as part of the cult comedy band’s July album ‘K**** Punk In Your Face’, the song has already received the backing of Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker.

Brooker noted on Sunday that the song had risen to number two on iTunes’ chart.

The song is battling it out with Ed Sheeran‘s Afterglow and LadBaby’s Don’t Stop Me Eatin’ for the top spot.

Its only lyrics are the line ‘Boris Johnson is a f****** c***’ repeated over and over to a punk guitar riff and the song is the brainchild of Basildon comedian Mike Gibbons

The band are priced at 8/1 by bookmakers to grab the Christmas number one spot on Friday.
