Video shows smashed Hillsborough weir near Langsett Road
The weir in the River Loxley as it passes Langsett Road in Hillsborough has been damaged.

This video shows a gap where the weir has been smashed, with a tree floating in it and water rushing through.
One passer-by reported seeing debris and bricks floating in the river, which has come from the smashed slip.
The weir is close to The Riverside pub and The Rawson Spring Wetherspoon’s.
The Star has contacted the council to try and find out what caused the damage.
