A Sheffield post office that was one of the first to stock the new £20 notes has seen a large number of customers turning up to get hold of the polymer money.

The plastic notes were released in seven post offices yesterday (February 20), with one of the two outside of London being on Ellesmere Road.

Since their release, Yasar Mohammed, manager of Ellesmere Road post office, said he has seen an influx of people coming in just for the new money.
