Tributes to 'beautiful soul' fatally shot outside city bar as £10,000 raised for funeral
Shanice was described as having “the biggest heart”
Flowers now cover a fence in Sheffield city centre as people pay their respects to an innocent mum who was fatally shot on a night out.
People continue to pay tribute to Shanice Brookes, a 30-year-old mum who was gunned down in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday.

Police have described the woman as an “innocent bystander” who sustained fatal wounds following a shooting outside of the One Four One bar on West Street.
A fence has now been placed outside the bar, with flowers and tributes tied to it as people show their love to the woman who was described as having a “beautiful soul.”
“Shanice I’m so sorry this happened to you, you’ll be greatly missed - one of the purest souls,” one person wrote.
Another left flowers with the note: “A beautiful soul gone too soon. Never be forgotten.”
Other tributes have been laid from staff at businesses along the street, including the Hallamshire House and Washington.
A fundraiser to pay for Shanice’s funeral and support her son’s future has already raised close to £10,500 - halfway to the organiser’s £20,000 goal.
One person who donated wrote on GoFundMe: “So utterly heartbreaking. I was so moved by how completely senseless and tragic Shanice Brookes' loss is.”
