Tributes left online include one from Mary Kitching, who described Logan as ‘a true gentleman’.

Friend Nathan Lee added: “Logan and I knew each in both college and university. He was one of the most humble, yet intellectually honest men I've ever met.

“He chose to dedicate himself to educating those in need and I'll always carry that burden for him, in his name. Rest easy, Logan. You were the best of us.”

Sian Ventham added: “Logan worked for me before he embarked on his teaching career he always had a smile on his face and was a valued member of the Primark Barnsley family.”

Robyn Slater said Logan was ‘a very pleasant fella’ and ‘was always very upbeat and approachable’.

So far, over £1,600 has been raised to help Logan’s family.

His sister Camilla said: “As my baby brother, he was always amazing to me; and marvellous and eccentric and daft and funny and intelligent, I could go on.

“He was one of the truly beautiful souls to grace the earth.”
