Flowers, hand-made cards and pink pompoms have been left at the school gates as a tribute to Johanne, who had a 17-year-old daughter, Megan.
One tribute read: “Keep shining like a Monteney rainbow, Jo.”
One parent wrote: “Mrs Scott was a wonderful teacher to my children, she is a massive loss to the children of Monteney Primary School.”

Hide AdA school spokesperson said Johanne was at the heart of school life and played an active part in trips, Christmas productions and after-school events.
They said: “Jo always welcomed all children and families into her class and was always so proud to share the many special moments or progress made, however small, with families.
“Jo will also be fondly remembered for her sparkle and her absolute love for pink and flamingo’s, so it is fitting that the many tributes, cards and flowers placed at the school gates and on social media remember her in this way.”
