Hide AdMehmet Acar, the Sheffield branch manager, said: “Knowing how important the season of Christmas is in British society in general and in the Christian faith in particular, we wanted to mark this time of celebration by inviting you to this special event.
“This invitation is open to all our friends, whatever their traditions and understandings of Christmas. We would be honoured to be shared with the spirit of this special season.”
Last year, the charity hosted a Christmas dinner at its community centre - based at Birch Road in Attercliffe - and although Covid-19 restrictions means things are a little different this year, this year’s event still promises to be a night filled with fun.
There will be 90 minutes of games, a quiz, music and a guest speaker.

For those participating in the games, it may be useful to have some materials ready.
For the three minute gingerbread man design challenge, a gingerbread man base and decorations will be required - attendees will vote for the best design and the winner will receive a surprise gift.
There will also be a paper plate drawing competition, which will require a paper plate and a pen, and the quiz will be in the form of a Kahoot quiz, in which a second device will be required to play.
