The seven-year-old cat has been cared for by staff at RSPCA Sheffield since September 2018, but after many months of love and care she is now ready for a new forever home.

Adam Spencer, of RSPCA Sheffield, said: “This pretty girl was brought to us by RSPCA Officers after concerns arose for her welfare. Since the day this gorgeous girl arrived with us, she has always been super sweet and friendly.

“She came to us suffering with an upset tummy and her fur was really patchy and bare around her back end. With some good parasite treatment, her fur and skin improved quickly and our vet put her on some medication for her tummy to help her to feel better. She still has a very sensitive tum and she`s on a special diet to help her to stay happy and comfortable.”

Donut has been on foster with an RSPCA volunteer while she has been recovering and getting well again.

Adam said that she’s a fantastic housemate and loves to snuggle up on the sofa to watch television.

He added: “Donut loves attention and she loves to spend time with her human friends. She also enjoys a gentle groom. She`s a total sweetie.”
