Stagecoach Supertram has now joined those showing their love for Alfie, whose mum Michelle affectionately called him ‘Moo Moo’.

It tweeted: “Today, Monday 8 February, the Supertram Blue route is dedicated to the memory of Alfie Hague, aged 13. Our thoughts are with his family and friends #maketwitterblueforalfiemoomoo.”

Supertram’s gesture is the latest way in which people across Sheffield have been keeping Alfie’s memory alive.

An anonymous artist previously painted a mural for Alfie on the shutters of the family cafe, while a craftswoman generously produced personalised face masks for loved ones to wear at his funeral.
