Spiderman helps Elizabeth celebrate her 91st birthday in Rotherham care home

Waterside Grange held a superhero day with staff dressing up to recognise and support carers in the commuity.

Resident Elizabeth Oliver, who celebrated her 91st birthday on the same day, said all she wanted for her birthday was a picture with Spider-Man, so the Waterside Grange staff obliged. Spider-Man arrived for birthday snaps and Elizabeth said she thought it was ‘really great’.

Lyndsey Webb, manager, said: ‘It was an amazing day, the residents and staff loved it. Our residents thought it was hilarious.”
