South Yorkshirer woman's marathon cycle challenge for children’s charity

South Yorkshire woman Barbara Heyes is taking on an epic challenge in aid of international children’s charity Global Care.

Joining in with the national ‘2.6 challenge’ to raise money for charities, Barbara, from Barnsley, a longstanding supporter of Global Care, is donning her cycling shorts and has created a mammoth cycling challenge.

She has now set herself the challenge of cycling 2.6 marathons in a week, a total of 68 miles in a week ending at 2.06pm on Saturday, May 2.
