South Yorkshire TV star Paul Chuckle joins all-star line up for new Real Marigold Hotel series

South Yorkshire comedy legend Paul Chuckle will return to TV screens this week – as one of the guests in the new series of The Real Marigold Hotel.

The Chuckle Brothers star is part of an all-star line-up for the BBC One show which shows famous names road testing retirement.

The four-part series will follow Paul, real name Paul Elliott, as well as former movie star and Bond girl Britt Ekland, Dragons’ Den star and entrepreneur Duncan Bannatyne, fashion designer Dame Zandra Rhodes, cricket commentator Henry Blofeld, EastEnders actor John Altman, actress Susie Blake and singer Barbara Dickson in India.

Six thousand miles away from home and in the colourful coastal city of Puducherry and in Rishikesh in the foothills of the Himalayas, the group have time to reflect on the ups and downs of life, open up to each other and find out if they could spend their golden years there.
