'Skip the queue' - Sheffield ice cream parlour launches table service option for summer

An award-winning Sheffield farm and popular ice cream parlour has launched a new feature that’s bound to get queues moo-ving quicker.

Dairy farm Our Cow Molly, based at Dungworth, near Bradfield, is known for its ice cream made with milk produced on site and is a popular attraction all year round.

At peak times there are often long queues of fans waiting to sample one of their 16 famous flavours.

Now the farm – which launched a vending machine to sell its products safely during lockdown - has also opened up a special table service section so people can ‘skip the queue.’

Launched at the weekend, it means people can now sit at on of their 13 bright pink tables and use the Sheffield City Grab app to order tubs of ice cream direct to their table.

Table service runs between 11am and 4.30pm at weekends, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Pictured are some of the first people to enjoy the new table service at the weekend.

The farm is also now selling ice cream from a prototype vending machine.
