The ever-popular Riverside on Mobray Street is ringing in the New Year with its annual bonfire, which has become something of a tradition.

Expect Chef Petes Bratwurst and bits BBQ, DJ Danny Mager bringing the party tunes throughout the night, an outdoor gin and bubbly bar, more confetti cannons than you can shake a stick, and even a pyrotechnics stage.

Berliner Philharmoniker Live: NYE Concert 2019

Broadcast live from Berlin, the Showroom Cinema is screening the Berliner Philharmoniker’s glittering New Year’s Eve Concert.

The event will be conducted by chief conductor Kirill Petrenko and the lively American programme will feature the star soprano Diana Damrau as guest soloist.

There are sure to be fireworks as the orchestra takes the audience on a journey through George Gershwin’s An American in Paris and Leonard Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story as well as works from Cole Porter, Carl Loewe, and Kurt Weill.
