Sheffield Samaritans charity shop appeals for volunteers
Sheffield Samaritans are encouraging people to get involved in volunteering this Volunteers Week by joining their charity shop team.

The shop raises vital funds to help the charity continue to be there for anyone who is struggling and now the team is on the lookout for new volunteers for our city centre charity shop.
The shop, and dedicated volunteers, raise much-needed funds to help Sheffield Samaritans continue to provide emotional support to people who are struggling to cope.
Volunteers support all areas of the day to day running of the shop gaining valuable customer service skills and retail experience.

Current volunteers say that, as well as helping to raise money for Sheffield Samaritans, giving their time to volunteer has lots of benefits such as being able to spend time in the community, meet different people and learn new skills.
Anyone who is interested in volunteering is urged to get in touch. No previous experience is needed and all travel expenses can be reimbursed. To find out more call 0114 2724010 or pop into the shop at 45 Chapel Walk in the city centre for an informal chat with the team.
