Zero Chill is being produced by Lime Pictures, maker of the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks and reality shows including The Only Way is Essex and Geordie Shore.

The show follows the fortunes of an ice hockey team and ice dancing team forced to share a rink, and its cast includes former Hollyoaks and Transformers: The Last Knight actor Christina Tam.

Now Lime Pictures has written to residents of the Park Hill flats to say they will be filming at the top end of South Street, overlooking Sheffield Amphitheatre, on Friday, January 17, between 4pm and 7pm.

“As part of our filming we will require full control of the road. We will therefore be implementing a road closure on South Street and part of Norfolk Road,” the letter states.

Lime Pictures said access via South Street would be maintained for residents and businesses within Park Hill ‘as and when it’s safe for us to do so' but residents and staff may be politely asked to wait for a few minutes on the day.

“We understand that we are guests in your area and we will do our utmost to minimise any disruption to residents and businesses when we can,” the letter continues.

It is not yet known when Zero Chill is likely to hit screens, and Lime Pictures declined to comment when approached by The Star.
