The three-year-old's details have just been shared online by the animal charity, which says that for a "little dude" he has a "massive personality".

The RSPCSA adds: "Doug absolutely loves people and will do anything he can to meet a friendly new face.

"He's quick to indulge in fuss given his way, from a relaxing chin scratch to a belly rub, and he will be especially excited to meet his new forever family.

"Doug is definitely a foodie and his main super power is his nose. If you have a treat in your hand, pocket, treat bag, he will find it!

"Food puzzles are a great way to help keep this little one busy; when sometimes toys have become a bit overwhelming, a food toy helps to stimulate his mind - particular favourites are snuffle mats and treat balls that mix both the mental and the physical in a way that he enjoys.

"Due to Doug's rambunctious ways, he would be suited to a family that are around as company most of the time and have children of 8+ if any and to be the only pet in the house to help him build some confidence when out and about.
