Rotherham-based animal charity Helping Yorkshire Poundies is looking to have more than 20 dogs scooped up and adopted by a loving family right now.
The team at the charity work every day of each year to rescue dogs from death row and help them get a second shot at happiness which they so rightly deserve. All of these dogs will have the personality and qualities to suit a perfect someone out there in the big wide world - could it be you?
If any of these cuties below catch your eye, you can visit Helping Yorkshire Poundies’ website and register your interest by filling out the Pre-Adoption Questionnaire. You can also view the full list of dogs looking to be adopted and fostered by visiting their website.

5. Lovely Revel
Revel is aged 14 weeks and is an American bulldog cross. He has a gorgeous merle coat and will be so handsome when he is all grown up. He is a typical puppy who is confident, happy and goofy. He can be rehomed with a female neutered dog and could live with a cat. He could also live with children aged eight+. As a puppy, he needs training and socialisation. 6. Say hi to Inga
Inga the Rottweiler is four years old and is a lovely, calm girl. She is friendly with everyone but a little shy at first. She isn’t excitable and bouncy, but she does love to play with soft toys. She walks well on lead and is spotlessly clean. She is a little on edge with other dogs and will need a pet-free home and walks at quieter times. She needs a garden to sunbathe in. 7. This cutie is Jelly Bean
Jelly Bean the Frenchie is aged around two years and found herself in the stray pound. She is super friendly and loves to snuggle. She is in foster with other dogs who she gets on well with, but she needs feeding separately as her love for food can see her get protective at meal times. She has a cherry eye which is being operated on. She could live with children aged eight+. Photo: HYP | Helping Yorkshire Poundies

8. Meet cheeky Coco
Coco the bulldog is aged around three years and a very happy, wiggly girl. She is well-behaved and enjoys getting out and about, but will not suit an overly active home. She will need extra care when the weather is warm. She likes other dogs and could be rehomed with a neutered male, as well as children aged eight+. She is housetrained and a real dream.
